Is StreamLay really free?
Yes. Every set, every widget, no watermark, no credit card. The core is free forever. It is built by ScorpRG, a solo tactical PvE streamer, because paid overlays that all look the same were not cutting it.
How do I add it to OBS?
Sign in, pick a set, and you get one browser source URL. In OBS, add a Browser Source, paste the URL, set it to 1920x1080, and you are live. Edits you make in the editor show up on stream instantly, no re-importing.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There is no software to download and no files to import. Everything runs from a single browser source URL, and you edit your overlay from any browser.
Does it work on both Twitch and YouTube?
Yes. It is an OBS browser source, so it works with anything you stream to, including Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and multistreaming through Restream. Twitch widgets (sub goal, follower goal, alerts) connect with a Twitch login.
